Katie visits local schools, teams, and other groups across America to speak on the importance of living a bold and passion-driven life.
“Katie touched our students' lives, inspired them to take leaps of faith, and got them to think for just a second: ‘Hey, I could do something like that.’”
-Kathy Coe, Dean of Students, St. Stephen’s Episcopal School, Austin, TX
Pave Your Lane is a campaign designed to empower people to find their passion, create a plan to embrace it, and "run" towards it fully.
In 2009, Pave Your Lane’s Founder, Katie Visco, ran solo across America, from Boston to San Diego to spread this campaign. Visco became the 2nd youngest and 13th woman overall to run the 3,132 miles coast to coast.
As of October 2011, Katie began her 50 States Series by running across Vermont and Massachusetts. She plans to eventually run across all 50 states, stopping to speak en route to inspire youth to endeavor in their dreams and passions. She is also writing a book along the way. Her ultimate dream is to run across every continent. Stay tuned!
Beginning late 2014, Katie will be running across Australia, carrying her message to the people down under and also back home to the USA!
A thought of the morning!
Running could be an act of gratitude for all you've ever been given; for the rapture of being alive; for the magic that exists even when we don't acknowledge it; for putting the "enchantment" back in a disenchanted society by simply going out for a "long run" and EXPECTING a miracle; for the sun always showing up each morning no matter what we've done, who we've loved, who we've failed to be, or what values we've chosen to be driven by.

G'day, mates! It's true! Beginning late 2014, I will be running across Australia. Another dream. Listen to that little voice in your heart and head...those calls are meant to be followed. Go sing your song. I'll be updating y'all about the upcoming Run Across Australia project. It's in the works as we speak. Stay tuned!
